We take a straightforward approach to each project; flushing out design details early on and developing optimal costs to finalize the scope of work, budget, and scheduling. Once construction begins, we anticipate each step of the project and the owner’s needs along the way, and work closely with the entire team to keep the project on track. We solve problems that crop up daily with genuine creativity and professionalism.

RENOVATION

CARLISLE

When the owners came to us this past fall, they wanted a multi-level deck to step down to their outdoor entertaining space. A functional space to carry indoor activities out. Working with architect Peter Grover, we extended the clean lines of the home and created a horizontal lattice detail to enclose the deck and installed an Atlantis cable rail system. A hidden door at the base provides access to ample under-deck storage.

RENOVATION

HISTORIC NEWTON

An 1892 historic home renovation for a repeat client, 14 years later. The house was restored to its original design by removing a 1970's addition and working with J.P. Moriarty & Co. to custom-match the historic columns and replicate the original molding profiles.

Featured in The Boston Globe, our full renovation in Groton with Ana Donohue Interiors. Magee Builders is credited for bringing a more modern feel to the living room and we enjoyed watching Ana and Patina Designs dress up the space.

To enhance the sound quality of this music room we used QuietRock and Rockwool in the ceiling and walls, engineered studs, and installed custom Trustile doors with Hafele automatic door seals to create a tight sound barrier.
