We tend to be critical and demanding and do not lightly give the high praise which comprises this recommendation. David deserves this praise. Working with him was not only a pleasure but a very productive enterprise with few of the upsets that one expects on a complex project of this sort. His knowledge of the construction field is encyclopedic and stems from the advantage that he has been close to the construction field, not only for his career but for a large part of his life. David was always on top of every issue, and proactive, brought questions of design and implementation to our attention and the attention of the architects. He is a stickler for quality, and very often noticed tiny defects that we would have missed, and had the subs correct them.
Whenever we had a problem with something on the house, whether it was directly related to the project or not, we would contact David and he would be on it immediately, and get plumbers or electricians or carpenters in to fix right away.

David managed our extensive addition/renovation to our primary residence. The project was complicated in that it touched virtually every part of a busy house and during most of the project, the house was occupied. Additionally, the architects did not provide any material on-site services and David was required to step into that role as well.
